A Note from Cathe Nixon, Director of The Nixon Centre for the Arts
First, we hope you are staying safe and well. We miss seeing you all, but believe that your health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance. Due to our closure, our scheduled performances have been postponed. We are working to rebook these performances as quickly as possible. If you have tickets for a performance that has been postponed, please hold on to them - they will be good for the new date!
We are also working to ensure that you have the best performing arts experiences waiting for you when it is safe to attend performances once again. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and patience while we work through this unprecedented situation.
The Nixon Centre is part of the Coweta County School System and will remain closed until we are given the go ahead to reopen the building.
Looking forward to seeing you all in the future!

I regret to inform our families that The Nixon Centre is cancelling our in person Visual Art and Musical Theatre camps scheduled for this June, and our Summer 2020 STAR performances.
We make this decision with deep reluctance, but do so out of an abundance of caution. The safety of our students, families and audiences is of paramount concern to The Nixon Centre. Children’s participation in public events during the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis is certainly a concern for our families.
Because of this, we will not go forward with our traditional summer events and classes. The Nixon Centre is committed, as it has always been, to excellence in the arts for our students and our whole community. We will focus on our ongoing renovations, and on a return of our performances and events planned for this fall. We have no doubt that our summer programs will also return next year, stronger than ever. Until then, we appreciate your support and well-wishes, and look forward to raising the curtain and bringing up the lights again soon.
With gratitude and sincerity,
Due to COVID-19, The Nixon Centre is closed until further notice. Events during this time will be rescheduled if possible. If you have tickets to an event, we will make every attempt to contact you via email. Please check back for updates. If you have specific questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
